Setting up Microsoft Outlook 2007

Solution:

To find the settings for your email account(s):

1.  Open your web browser and go to http://www.sagemember.com

2.  Enter your login ID and your password and click "Login".

3.  Click on the "Email Accounts" tab, you will find the settings at the top of page.


Configure your accounts in Microsoft Outlook 2007


  1. Go to Tools | Account Settings.
  2. Click on the Email Tab and click New.
  3. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click Next.
  4. On the Auto Account Setup window, check the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" at the bottom (note: you do not need to fill in the account details here) and click Next.
  5. Select Internet E-mail option and click Next.
  6. Fill in the Internet E-mail Settings according to the table above (account type should be set to POP3 or IMAP).
  7. Click More Settings, then select the Outgoing Server tab.
  8. Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
  9. Click on the Advanced tab, under "Use the following type of encrypted connection", select SSL from the drop-down boxes, under both the Incoming server, and Outgoing server, change the Outgoing server port number to 465 then click OK. (Incoming Port should be 995 for POP accounts or 993 for IMAP accounts
  10. Click Next, the click Finish.
