Using SAGE ShowLink at  Shows Powered by Maritz

Issue:

Shows using Maritz Global badges have a barcode (QR code) that contains only limited information, which will NOT allow SAGE ShowLink to access the attendees’ full contact information without obtaining a data feed license from Maritz Global (formerly Experient).

Current shows include the ASI Shows.

Solution:

You will need to obtain a data feed license and activate the show prior to the show date from Maritz Global to utilize SAGE Showlink.

1.  Contact them at 800.787.0475 to sign up and pay for the real-time data feed license.  They will then email you an API key (Activation Code).

2.  Go to www.sagemember.com, login, and click the Showlink tab.

3.  Activate the Show you are attending and then Click on Settings.

4.  Add the Activation Code and your Badge ID from your badge or badge confirmation email to the Experient Data Feed Setup fields, and click on Save.

Once the information is added, ShowLink will work like normal at the show by scanning the QR code on the badge. 

Note that you must be online during the show in order for Showlink to download the attendee information.  If you are scanning offline, the information will be populated when you connect and upload your leads.
