How to Contact Live Research Assistance in SAGE Workplace

Issue:

Live Research Assistance is a complimentary benefit for SAGE Workplace users. It helps you locate hard-to-find products by connecting you directly with a live research specialist who can search on your behalf.

Solution:

Using Live Research Assistance in SAGE Workplace

SAGE Workplace Windows App

1. From the Product Search page, select Live Research Help in the upper-right corner.

2. A conversation will open in the SAGE Chat application, connecting you with a Live Research Assistance representative.

3. Share details about the product you’re looking for, including a photo if available.

4. The representative will provide a search link you can click to open a new Product Search results page in the Windows App and may suggest relevant products or suppliers.   

SAGE Workplace Web App

1. From the Product Search page, select Live Research Assistance in the lower-left corner.

2. A conversation will open in SAGE Chat connecting you with a Live Research Assistance representative.

3. Share details about the product you’re looking for, including a photo if available.

4. The representative will provide a search link that you can click to open a new Product Search results page in the web app and may suggest relevant products or suppliers.

SAGE Workplace iOS or Android Apps

1. From the Product Search screen, select the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner.

2. Enter details of the product you are looking for in the “What can we help you find?” field and attach a photo if available.

3. A conversation will open in SAGE Chat, connecting you with a Live Research Assistance representative.

4. The representative will provide a search link you can tap to open a new Product Search results page in the mobile app, and may suggest relevant products or suppliers.

5. Outside of business hours, you can still send a message through the app. Your request will be routed to the Research Assistance inbox, and you will receive an email at the address associated with your SAGE Workplace login once business hours resume.

Live Research Assistance is available during the following hours (CST):

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
