Guidelines for submitting images to SAGE

Issue:

This article describes guidelines for submitting digital catalog and product images for inclusion in SAGE research tools.

NOTE:  THIS ARTICLE ONLY APPLIES IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO ENTER YOUR CATALOG FOR YOU (A SERVICE WE PROVIDE COMPLIMENTARY TO THE INDUSTRY).  IF YOU ARE USING THE SAGE SUPPLIER CENTER TO UPDATE YOUR CATALOG, PLEASE VIEW Image and PDF Specifications for Supplier's INSTEAD OF THIS ARTICLE.

Solution:

SAGE accepts digital catalog page images as well as digital product images.  If you do not have digital images, we also can create images from your hardcopy catalog.   However, digital images will provide the best quality.  

Important points to remember:

* Please make sure that your files strictly adhere to the specifications below.  Otherwise we may not be able to use them.

What files to submit:

Option 1

Submit 'SAGE ready' JPG or PNG files.

Option 2

Submit a PDF file containing the complete catalog with a page size of 8.5" x 11" at 300 ppi. The embedded graphics in the PDF file may be in any bitmap format with very minimal or no compression. The graphics should be true 300 ppi images, not up-converted from a lower resolution. Text should be in vector format.

How to submit your files:

Option 1

Send your file(s) via email to supplierupdates@sageworld.com

Option 2

Upload your files to our FTP site.  Please carefully follow the instructions found here: Uploading Files to Our FTP Server


Option 3

Mail your files on a physical CD (PC compatible format) or USB drive, along with a copy of your printed catalog to:
